<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Jesus Christ shall return".

He promises me:
  "For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry". (Heb. 10:36,37)

My response to the word:
  The Second Coming of Christ is an imminent reality. The Lord will return, and the dead in Christ will rise up to meet Him first; then we who remain will be caught up in the clouds together with them, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. This is both an exciting and comforting truth.

My prayer:
  Father God, thank you for sending Jesus to live and die for me, and thank you for the promise that He will come again. I look forward to His coming.

Today's scriptures:
 "If I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again. Then I will bring you into my presence so that you will be where I am". (John 14:3 GW) "We who are still alive when the Lord comes will not go into His kingdom ahead of those who have already died... The dead who believed in Christ will come back to life. Then, together with them, we who are still alive will be taken in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. In this way we will always be with the Lord". (1 Thess. 4:16,17 GW)

Quote for today:
