<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I am not the author of confusion".

He promises me:
  "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints". (1 Cor. 14:33)

My response to the word:
  Whenever I experience confusion, I lose the peace of God. God always gives me clarity of thought and purpose; He never confuses me. Life, after all, is simple when we follow God's ways; it is usually we ourselves who create or permit the circumstances that create confusion. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you". I will walk in the peace Jesus gives to me throughout this day. I will renew my mind with God's Word.

My prayer:
  Father, help me to remember that when confusion comes I need to get alone with you and your Word. Being in your presence gives me such peace that all confusion is eradicated. Your Word brings light and direction to me. Thank you, Lord.

Today's scriptures:
 "Your Word is a doorway that lets in light, and it helps gullible people understand". (Ps. 119:130 GW) "I'm leaving you peace. I'm giving you my peace. I don't give you the kind of peace that the world gives. So don't be troubled or cowardly". (John 14:27 GW) "But the spiritual nature produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control". (Gal. 5:22,23 GW)

Quote for today:
