<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I give you abundant life".

He promises me:
  "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly". (John 10:10)

My response to the word:
  An abundant life is one that is filled with good things - health, prosperity, spiritual blessings, peace, joy, love, etc. I receive Jesus' promise of abundance in my life this day. I believe He wants me to walk in the abundance He provides for me. Paul wrote, "Blessed be the God and Father our of Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ".

My prayer:
  Blessed be God, my Father and the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places with Christ. Thank you for giving me abundant life.

Today's scriptures:
 "Through Christ, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing that heaven has to offer". (Eph. 1:3 GW) "Glory belongs to God, whose power is at work in us. By this power He can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine". (Eph. 3:20 GW) "God poured a generous amount of the Spirit on us through Jesus Christ our Saviour". (Titus 3:6 GW)

Quote for today:
We must begin by acknowledging that we need God's help, God's power and God's life. Dead things cannot grow; and without Christ we are spiritually dead. (George Sweeting)
