<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "You are more than a conqueror".

He promises me:
  "In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us". (Rom. 8:37)

My response to the word:
  I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. I can do all things through Him. Without Him, I can do nothing. Throughout this day I will remember that God doesn't call me to be successful, according to the standards of this world, but He does call me to be faithful (full of faith). He will take care of the rest. I am an overcomer, because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

My prayer:
  Loving Lord, I give my life to you afresh. Throughout this day I realize that I will prevail against all obstacles and foes because you have told me that I am more than a conqueror through Christ. I believe your Word. Help me to be strong in you, Lord, and in the power of your might.

Today's scriptures:
 "I am the vine. You are the branches. Those who live in Me while I live in them will produce a lot of fruit". (John 15:5 GW) "Receive your power from the Lord, and from His mighty strength. (Eph. 6:10 GW) "I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me". (Col. 4:13 GW) "Everyone who has been born from God has won the victory over the world". (1 John 5:4 GW)

Quote for today:
God made a show of the powers of evil and darkness and at Calvary He put them to rout. (James S Stewart)

On this day:
On 20th January 1930, Buzz Aldrin was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. He is an American engineer and a former astronaut and fighter pilot. As lunar module pilot on the Apollo 11 mission, he and mission commander Neil Armstrong were the first two humans to land on the Moon on 21st July 1969.
