<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Submit yourselves to Me, resist the devil, and he will flee from you".

He promises me:
  "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you". (James 4:7)

My response to the word:
  Two main things give me spiritual victory: submitting myself to God and resisting the devil. I submit myself to God. I give Him my life, my body, my soul, my spirit, my work, my family, and everything else. Throughout this day I want to be fully surrendered to Him. In such a submitted relationship with God, I know the devil will flee when I resist him in faith.

My prayer:
  Father, I fully submit and surrender myself to you. You are my Lord. I give my life to you. Help me to resist the devil when he comes to tempt me.

Today's scriptures:
 "Jesus answered him, 'Scripture says, Worship the Lord your God and serve only Him". (Luke 4:8 GW) "Lord, even demons obey us when we used the power and authority of your name". (Luke 10:17 GW)

Quote for today:
Do you want to enter what people call "the higher life"? Then go a step lower down. (Andrew Murray)

On this day:
