<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "In Christ you have boldness and access with confidence".

He promises me:
  "According to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord; in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him". (Eph. 3:11,12)

My response to the word:
  Faith in Christ, as it is imparted to me through the Word of God, gives me courage to face the present with confidence, and the future with expectancy. It also helps me to realize that when I go to God in prayer, He will hear me. The Bible says, "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need".

My prayer:
  Heavenly Father, thank you for the prayer promises of your Word which clearly show me that you want me to come to you. Thank you for Jesus who gives me access to your throne.

Today's scriptures:
 "We can go to God with bold confidence through faith in Christ". (Eph. 3:12 GW) "So we can go confidently to the throne of God's kindness to receive mercy and find kindness, which will help us at the right time". (Heb. 4:16 GW) "Dear friends, if our conscience doesn't condemn us, we can boldly look to God and receive from Him anything we ask". (1 John 3:21,22 GW) "We are confident that God listens to us if we ask for anything that has His approval". (1 John 5:14 GW)

Quote for today:
Prayer is the link that connects us with God. This is the bridge that spans every gulf and bears us over every abyss of danger or of need. (A B Simpson)
