<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Speak the truth in love".

He promises me:
  "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ". (Eph. 4:15)

My response to the word:
  God wants me to speak the truth at all times, and as I do so be certain I am communicating with love. Truth and love are key components in my walk with Jesus, and as I practice these qualities I will experience spiritual growth. As I speak the truth in love I will be more like Jesus who was always truthful and loving. I will walk in truth and love throughout this day.

My prayer:
  Lord, I thank you for empowering me to speak the truth in love. With your help I will do so at all times.

Today's scriptures:
 "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free". (John 8:32 GW) "People can see our purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit's presence in our lives, our sincere love, truthfulness, and the presence of God's power". (2 Cor. 6:6,7 GW) "Do your best to present yourself to God as a tried-and-true worker who isn't ashamed to teach the word of truth correctly". (2 Tim. 2:15 GW)

Quote for today:
Love accepts the trying things of life without asking for explanations. It trusts and is at rest. (Amy Carmichael)
