<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "In the way of righteousness there is life"

He promises me:
  "In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is not death". (Prov. 12:28)

My response to the word:
  The Bible is full of admonitions about the importance of righteousness. Though I realize I have no righteousness of my own, I am able to walk in the righteousness that Christ imparted to me. The Bible says, "The righteous are delivered out of trouble". I will walk in the Lord's righteousness throughout this day.

My prayer:
  Lord, thank you for imparting your righteousness to me. With your help I will walk in righteousness everywhere I go.

Today's scriptures:
 "He renews my soul. He guides me along the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name". (Ps. 23:3 GW) "The righteousness of innocent people makes their road smooth, but wicked people fall by their own wickedness". (Prov. 11:5 GW) "A righteous person is rescued from trouble". (Prov. 11:8 GW)

Quote for today:
You can always tell when you are on the road of righteousness - it's uphill. (Ernest Blevins)
