<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I give My favour to you"

He promises me:
  "A good man obtains favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will He condemn". (Prov. 12:22)

My response to the word:
  I will walk in the goodness of God throughout this day. The Lord gives His wonderful favour to those who walk in goodness. I will remember that the best way to escape evil is to pursue good and that goodness consists not so much in the outward things I do, but in the inward attitudes of my heart.

My prayer:
  God, my loving Father, thank you for your goodness. Fill me with your Spirit so that I will be enabled to walk in goodness throughout this day.

Today's scriptures:
 "You bless righteous people, O Lord. Like a large shield, you surround them with your favour". (Ps. 5:12 GW) "Then you will find favour and much success in the sight of God and humanity". (Prov. 3:4 GW) "Whoever finds Me finds life and obtains favour from the Lord". (Prov. 8:35 GW)

Quote for today:
I looked at God, and He looked at me, and we were one forever. (Charles Spurgeon)

On this day:
