<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "You shall be My witnesses".

He promises me:
  "And you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, in all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth". (Acts 1:8)

My response to the word:
  I will be a faithful witness for my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ throughout this day. His Spirit empowers me to help fulfil the Great Commission. I will share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with other people throughout this day. I will remember that every person I meet today is either a missionary or a mission field. Everyone I see needs either to know you or to know you better.

My prayer:
  Lord, fill me with your Spirit and empower me to be your faithful witness today. Lead me to those who need to hear about your saving grace.

Today's scriptures:
 "Wherever you go, make disciples of all nations: Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to do everything I have commanded you". (Matt. 28:19,20 GW) "I'm not ashamed of the Good News. It is God's power to save everyone who believes". (Rom. 1:16 GW) "Therefore, we are Christ's representatives, and through us God is calling you". (2 Cor. 5:20 GW)

Quote for today:
Every man will have to decide for himself whether or not he can afford the terrible luxury of unbelief. (A W Tozer)

On this day:
