<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I hear your prayers".

He promises me:
  "And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us". (1 John 5:14)

My response to the word:
  God hears me when I pray if I pray according to His will. His will is revealed in His Word. Therefore, I will pray according to the Word of God. In this way I can be assured at all times that I am praying His will and He is hearing my prayers. "And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desire of Him".

My prayer:
  Father, it is so good to know that you want me to express my needs to you in prayer. I believe your Word which invites me, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know". Thank you, Father

Today's scriptures:
 "Listen to us, Lord. Forgive us, Lord. Pay attention, and act. Don't delay. Do this for your sake, my God, because your city and your people are called by your name". (Dan. 9:19 GW) "We are confident that God listens to us if we ask for anything that has His approval. We know that He listens to our requests. So we know that we already have what we ask Him for". (1 John 5:14,15 GW)

Quote for today:
If you pray for bread and bring no basket to carry it, you prove the doubting spirit which may be the only hindrance to the gift you ask. (D L Moody)
