Today God says:
"Whatever you do shall prosper".
He promises me:
"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper". (Ps. 1:3)
My response to the word:
This precious promise is extended to those who walk not in the counsel of the ungodly and do not stand in the way of sinners. When I delight in God's law (His Word), and meditate upon the Scriptures, I will become like a mighty oak tree, prosperous and strong, withstanding every storm of life. I will be a fruitful Christian who possesses life and vitality, and whatever I do will prosper. This is God's promise to me.
My prayer:
Dear Father, I draw close to you as I meditate in your Word and consider the magnitude of your promises to me. It amazes me to realize how much you love me and want to bless me. Thank you, Father.
Today's scriptures:
"Never stop reciting these teachings. You must think about them night and day so that you will faithfully do everything written in them. Only then will you prosper and succeed". (Josh. 1:8 GW) "I alone have spoken. I have called him. I will bring him here, and he will succeed". (Isa. 48:15 GW)
Quote for today:
In the day of prosperity we have many refuges to resort to; in the day of adversity, only One. (Horatius Bonar)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
