<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I will deliver you from temptation".

He promises me:
  "The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations". (2 Peter 2:9)

My response to the word:
  God promises to strengthen me in the face of every temptation. He proclaims, "For sin shall not have dominion over you; for you are not under law, but under grace". The temptations I face are common to people everywhere, but God is faithful to me, and He promises not to let me be tempted beyond my ability to endure.

My prayer:
  God, thank you for helping me to overcome temptations in my life. You are so very faithful to me.

Today's scriptures:
 "Certainly, sin shouldn't have power over you because you're not controlled by laws, but under God's favour". (Rom. 6:14 GW) "There isn't any temptation that you have experienced which is unusual for humans. God, who faithfully keeps His promises, will not allow you to be tempted beyond your power to resist. But when you are tempted, He will also give you the ability to endure the temptation as your way of escape". (1 Cor. 10:13 GW) "Because Jesus experienced temptation when He suffered, He is able to help others when they are tempted". (Heb. 2:18 GW)

Quote for today:
Apart from God we're weak as water. (Unknown)
