<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and I will raise them up".

He promises me:
  "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up". (James 5:15)

My response to the word:
  The prayer of faith accomplishes a multitude of miracles. This is the mountain-moving kind of faith that Jesus speaks about. It gives me wisdom. It brings answers. It pleases God. It also brings God's healing power to the sick. God blesses the prayer of faith.

My prayer:
  Lord, I believe your Word. Your Word imparts faith to my heart. Therefore, I pray that you would minister your healing power to ……………………………………………………………………

Today's scriptures:
 "Have faith that you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer". (Matt. 21:22 GW) "This is what will be done for someone who doesn't doubt but believes what he says will happen: He can say to this mountain, 'Be uprooted and thrown into the sea', and it will be done for him". (Mark 11:23 GW) "So faith comes from hearing the message, and the message that is heard is what Christ spoke". (Rom. 10:17 GW)

Quote for today:
Some brethren pray by the yard; but true prayer is measured by the weight and not by the length. (Charles Spurgeon)

On this day:
On 21st October 1555, finding that the recent martyrdom of bishops Nicholas Ridley and Hugh Latimer had intensified Protestant zeal, Queen Mary launches a series of fierce persecutions in which more than 200 men, women, and children were killed.
