<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I will rebuke the devourer for your sake".

He promises me:
  "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall your vine cast her fruit before time, says the Lord of hosts". (Mal. 3:11)

My response to the word:
  God assures me that my life will be fruitful if I will walk in trust and obedience before Him. The devil (the devourer) will not be able to touch me because God, my loving Father, will rebuke him for my sake. I take great heart in this promise because I know God wants to bless me, keep me, and make my way prosperous.

My prayer:
  Dear Lord, thank you for protecting me from the evil one, and for rebuking him when he attempts to devour all you have given to me. I rejoice over the fact that the enemy is a defeated foe.

Today's scriptures:
 "The Lord said to Satan, 'I the Lord, silence you, Satan. I the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem, silence you. Isn't this man like a burning log snatched from a fire?" (Zech. 3:2 GW) "Jesus ordered the demon to come out of the boy. At that moment the boy was cured". (Matt. 17:18 GW) "Everyone was amazed to see God's wonderful power". (Luke 9:43 GW)

Quote for today:
